The University Club is a sports and social facility for Staff, Graduates, Alumni, retired or ex staff and Associated Institutions of Oxford University, and membership is now available to their friends and family.The Club is situated a short 10 minute walk from the centre of Oxford with its many shops, bars and restaurants, and only 20 minutes walk from the Train and bus station.FACILITIES AND SERVICES:FOOD AND DRINK the Club offers great value, good quality home cooked food, daily changing menus catering for all tastes, ranging from hot snacks to main meals and delicious desserts. The bar offers a selection of beverages including local speciality ales. CAF 0800 1700 (Monday to Friday)Serving hot breakfast and fresh coffees from 0800 (Mini English Breakfast only £3.50) 12 noon - Fresh homemade lunches soup and bread £1.95, Paninis and Baked Potatoes £3.65, large bowl of Salad £3.20, 2 hot main meal choices £3.50 - £3.95 and dessert £1.80.BAR 11.30 14.30 and 1700 2330pm (Monday Friday)The bar serves daily specials from 5.30pm 8.30pm, prices for main meals all below £8.00Large glass wine £ 3.00, Pint lager £2.25, pint real ale £2.40 and gin and tonic £ 2.45ACCOMMODATION the Club has 14 ensuite bedrooms with views over the University Cricket field, (2 of the rooms are fully accessible for disabled users), and all equipped with hospitality tray, toiletries, Television, hairdryer, Telephone and WIFI access. Use of the Gym is available for guests staying at the Club.SPORTS The Club plays host to the following sections which are all available to Club Members: Aerobics, Dance, Football, Cricket, Archery, Tennis, Squash, Karate and Fencing. ARTIFICAL ALL WEATHER PITCH Floodlit artificial pitch suitable for Football and Tennis all year round (tennis £4.00 per hour to members and Football £20.00 per hour)GYM - £50.00 annual membership, with gym inductions on offer, communal changing rooms and showers, lockers and individual showers also available. CRICKET FOOTBALL PITCH available to hire (price depends on conditions of use)AEROBICS Weekly yoga and fitness classes - member price £3.50 per class.

University Club, Oxford - Directions:
A 15 20 minute walk from the train station - AND 10 minutes from the bus station.BY FOOT:From the train station get to the main road and turn to the left heading to the town centre. Walk up Hythe Bridge Street, George Street, Broad Street and Holywell street (this is all in a straight line) Hlaf way down holywell street turn left on to Mansfield Road and The University Club is on your right about half way down.BY CAR:From South - off the M40 take exit 8 and join the A40 heading towards the city centre. At the large roundabout take the middle lane heading towards Summertown and continue down the dual carriageway. At the next roundabout take the first exit to Summer town and drive all the way through (A4165 - Banbury Road). At the first set traffic lights (excluding pedestrian crossing sets) go staight on, and at the next set turn left on to Parks road and follow the road around to the right. At the next set turn Left on to South parks road, and mansfield road is half way down on the right. Turning on to Mansfield road the University Club is 2 minutes on the left.From the North - Take the exit junction 9 on the M40 and join the A34 towards the Pear tree interchange. At the peartree interchange take the 2nd exit A44 (woodstock road) At the Wolvercote roundabout take the 2nd Exit A40 (north way) and continue until the next roundabout and take the 3rd Exit Banbury Road A4165. At the traffic lights turn left onto Parks Road and the left again on to South parks Road. Half way down on the right is Mansfield Road. The unversity Club is half way down Mansfield Road on the right.
